Questions

## Before you reach out.

What happens next, what to have ready, and how to reach us from India.

### What happens after I send my details?

A preparer reaches out to the email you entered to understand your situation — visa status, income types, states and any foreign accounts — and points you to the right filing and fee before any work starts.

### What should I have ready for the first conversation?

Just the basics: your visa type, roughly when you arrived in the US, which states you lived or worked in, and whether you have bank accounts or income outside the US. Documents such as W-2s and 1099s can come later through the secure portal.

### Can I reach you from India?

Yes. Use the WhatsApp button on this site to reach our India support line, or email and call us. Everything else — documents, questions and status — happens online through the client portal.

### Do I need to visit an office?

No. Registration, document upload, review and e-filing all happen online. The only exception is an ITIN application, which needs original or certified documents mailed with a paper filing — we guide you through it.

### Is it safe to send my tax documents to you?

Please do not email sensitive documents. Upload them through the secure client portal instead, where documents are stored encrypted and access is restricted to your account and our authorized staff.
